Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)
4–5 sausages (pork, chicken, or veggie), cooked or par-cooked
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Optional: herbs (thyme, rosemary) or a pinch of chili flakes
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
Cut the pastry into strips or rectangles wide enough to wrap around the sausages.
Sprinkle cheese onto each pastry piece, then place a sausage on top.
Roll the pastry around the sausage and cheese. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
Place seam-side down on the tray. Score the tops lightly with a knife if desired.
Brush with egg wash (1 beaten egg) for a golden finish.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
