My Kid Whipped Up Dinner, and It Was a Total Hit! Had to Snag the Recipe

Introduction
Last night, my kid decided to take over the kitchen and cook dinner all by themselves. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but what came out was surprisingly delicious — so good that I just had to get the recipe. This dish is simple enough for kids to make (with a little guidance) but tasty enough for adults to enjoy too. It’s become a new family favorite!

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked pasta (any shape you like)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1/2 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar work great)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Preparation:
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant and soft, about 3-4 minutes.

Toss in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes until they soften and release their juices.

Stir in the spinach leaves and cook just until wilted.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well, coating everything in the garlicky tomato mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and let it melt slightly before serving.

Serving and Storage Tips:
Serve this dish warm, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if you have it. It pairs beautifully with a simple side salad or some garlic bread. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
