Unique winter tomatoes in a delicious cabbage! Simply, without additional heat treatment, with minimal effort!
This recipe has been passed down from generation to generation in our house, and we make at least 10 mason jars each year. As a result, the tomatoes become firm and juicy, and the cabbage becomes crisp and surprisingly aromatic. The perfect treat for winter evenings!
Ingredients for 3 liters:
1 head of cabbage
Italian tomatoes – about 1.5 kg. 1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 hot pepper
Parsley and dill
In each glass container:
1 bay leaf
3 allspice peas
5 black peppercorns
