2 tablespoons of salt
4 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of 9% vinegar
Cooking process:
Place the bay leaves, peppercorns, and hot pepper rings in pre-washed jars and also add bell pepper pieces, onion rings, and bunches of fresh herbs.
After that, fill the jars with chopped cabbage, compacting it.

Next, place the tomatoes, making small punctures at the base.

Then add more cabbage and tomatoes, and finish the top layer with pepper strips and cabbage.
Fill the jars with boiled water, close the lids, and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes.

After this time, return the water to the pot, add salt and sugar, and boil for 2-3 minutes.

If you're worried about the jars bursting, simply refill them with boiling water, then with the marinade.

Add the vinegar, keep the jars on the heat for exactly one minute, and remove the lids.

Fill the jars with the hot marinade, close the lids, and turn them upside down. Wrap them warm and let them cool completely.
After cooling, transfer the jars for storage. They keep perfectly at any temperature.

Tomatoes and cabbage prepared this way are a real winter treat! Be sure to try this tried-and-true recipe. The taste is simply incredible!
