Strawberry cream filled donut

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
Vegetable oil for frying

For the strawberry cream filling:

1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
1/4 cup strawberry jam
Decorating:
Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Make the dough:
In a small bowl, combine the yeast with the warm milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the melted butter, eggs, and yeast. Mix until a soft dough forms.
