Is that much cream too heavy for you? Alternatively, you can just beat 200 ml until stiff and stir in 200 g of quark, yoghurt or mascarpone and a packet of vanilla sugar.

Let it sit:
The biggest difficulty with a pancake cake is cutting it. Will everything hold or will it crumble? As with ours, it is important that you let the finished pancake cake sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours. This will make it compact and firm enough to cut. You can even prepare it a day in advance, because it will be perfect the next day.

Decorating pancake cake for children
