Introduction: If you're looking for a simple, healthy, and delicious meal, white tuna balls in the air fryer are a perfect choice. These golden, crispy bites are packed with flavor, easy to prepare, and require minimal effort. The air fryer gives them a crunchy exterior while keeping them tender on the inside. These tuna balls can be a great appetizer, snack, or even a light main dish for lunch or dinner. Perfect for busy days, this recipe is quick to make and will surely satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:

2 cans of white tuna in water, drained and flaked
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if preferred)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil spray for air frying
Directions:

Prepare the Tuna Mixture: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the drained and flaked tuna, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined. If the mixture feels too dry, add a bit of water or an extra egg to achieve the right consistency.

Shape the Balls: Using your hands, form the tuna mixture into small balls, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. You should get about 12-15 balls, depending on the size you make them.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Cook the Tuna Balls: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking. Arrange the tuna balls in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each ball. Lightly spray the tops of the balls with olive oil as well.

Air Fry: Cook the tuna balls for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure an even golden-brown exterior. The balls should be crispy on the outside and fully cooked through on the inside.

Serve and Enjoy: Once done, remove the tuna balls from the air fryer and serve immediately.
