Ingredients for pork rolls with dill butter (for 4 people)
600 g pork (e.g. pork schnitzel or pork loin), thinly sliced
200 g soft butter
1 bunch of fresh dill, finely chopped (alternatively 2-3 tsp dried dill)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 lemon (zest and juice)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp mustard
1 tsp paprika powder
100 g breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs
100 g flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
4 tbsp vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
Toothpicks or kitchen string
Preparation of the pork rolls with dill butter
1. Prepare the dill butter
Put the soft butter in a bowl. Add the finely chopped dill, garlic, lemon zest and juice, a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything well until you have a smooth, aromatic dill butter. Wrap the dill butter in cling film and leave to set in the fridge so that it can be worked into the rolls more easily later.
