Introduction:
Sobremesa de Maracujá com Chocolate is an irresistible dessert that combines the freshness of maracujá (passion fruit) with the sweetness of chocolate, creating a perfect combination of flavors and textures. This Brazilian dessert, ideal for ending a meal in a special way, is easy to prepare and suitable for any occasion. Its creaminess and the contrast between the acidic fruit and the rich chocolate are sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

1 maracujá fruit (passion fruit)
200 g dark chocolate
200 ml fresh cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon powdered gelatin (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the maracujá: Cut the maracujá fruit in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Strain the juice to remove the seeds if you prefer a smooth texture, or leave the seeds for a crunchy touch. Set aside.

Prepare the chocolate base: In a saucepan, heat the cream over low heat until it almost boils. Add the chopped dark chocolate and stir until smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix well.

Mix the passion fruit: Combine the passion fruit pulp with the chocolate mixture. Add the lemon juice and, if you want a firmer consistency, you can dissolve the gelatin in a little hot water and add it to the mixture.

Assemble the dessert: Pour the mixture into individual cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until it has solidified. The result should be a creamy and compact consistency.

Serving and storage tips:

Serve the dessert cold, perhaps garnishing with a dusting of cocoa or a few chocolate chips.
You can add a fresh mint leaf or a slice of passion fruit for an aesthetic touch.
Store in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in airtight containers.
