Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
Half a loaf of rye bread
Half a teaspoon of onion powder
Half a teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
6 slices cheddar cheese
6 thin slices provolone
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Secret Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped bacon
3 tablespoons sauce (1:1 sugar)
1/4 teaspoon Delight In
Methods:
Prepare the Patties:
Divide the ground beef into three equal parts and shape them into flattened patties, matching the size of the bread slices.
Season the patties with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
Cook the Patties:
Fry the patties over medium-high heat until they are fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Secret Sauce:
Mix all secret sauce ingredients until well combined while the patties are cooking.
Toast the Bread:
Wipe off the skillet and lower the heat to medium.
Coat each slice of bread with melted butter.
Toast three slices of bread in the skillet, buttered side down.
