Lentil meatballs
INGREDIENTS:
Lentils, 1 cup
Oats, 1 cup
Olive oil 1tbsp
Onion 1, chopped onion
Garlic cloves 3, chopped
Walnuts, 1/2 cup, chopped
Ground flax seeds, 1tbsp
Nutritional yeast 1 tbsp
Salt according to taste
Black pepper according to taste
TOMATO SAUCE:
To prepare the tomato sauce, we need the following ingredients:
Fresh tomatoes, 400 grams, chopped
Onion 1/2, finely chopped
Carrot 1, chopped
Celery 1, chopped
Vegan oil 1tbsp
Garlic clove 1, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS:
We shall abide by the following rules to create delicious & fresh vegan lentil meatballs:
Wash the red lentils first, then soak them in water for 15 minutes or such.
Then, put the brown lentils first & water in a big pan & cover.
Cook over a low flame for 15/20 mins.
After the lentils are cooked, drain any excess water in a big pan & cover.
In a big pan, add vegan oil to cook lentil meatballs.
Include the chopped onion to the oil & cook it slowly.
Reduce the heat & simmer until it becomes transparent, about 5 minutes.
The chopped garlic should then be sauteed for one minute.
Include the oats, yeast, salt, powdered peppercorn, & flax seeds (ground) now.
Incorporate cooked lentils into this blend.
Using a wooden spoon, combine all the items.
