Recipe Ingredients.
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup grated cheese (can be cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 beaten egg (for brushing the surface)
- Sesame or sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine the wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the cold cut butter to the bowl of dry ingredients.
- Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to incorporate the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
