Ingredients:

2 large onions, sliced into rings
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
Cooking spray or oil mister
Instructions:
Prep the Onions:Peel and slice the onions into rings, separating the layers. Discard the smallest inner rings as they might not cook evenly.
Set Up Coating Station:In one bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl, place the beaten eggs.
In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Coat the Onion Rings:Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Then dip the ring into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off.
Finally, coat the ring in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated ring on a plate or tray.
Preheat Air Fryer:Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Air Fry the Onion Rings:Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or use an oil mister to coat the onion rings.
Place the coated onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch or overlap.
Cook the onion rings in batches if needed.
Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, flipping the rings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serve and Enjoy:Once the onion rings are cooked to your desired crispiness, carefully remove them from the air fryer and place them on a serving plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
