Italian Stromboli 😋

Ingredients (serves 4):

For the dough (or use ready-made pizza dough):
500 g flour (type 00 or plain flour)

1 sachet of dried yeast

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

300 ml lukewarm water

For the filling (traditional, variable to taste):
150 g salami or ham

150 g mozzarella or provolone (grated or sliced)

100 g grated Parmesan cheese

1 bell pepper (sliced)

1 small onion (optional)

4 tbsp tomato sauce (passerine with herbs)

Fresh herbs: basil, oregano

For brushing:
1 egg (beaten)

Sesame seeds or Italian herbs for sprinkling
