🇭🇺 Hungarian Lángos – Basic Recipe
Ingredients (for about 6 loaves):

500 g wheat flour (type 550)

1 cube of fresh yeast (42 g) or 1 sachet of dried yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

250 ml lukewarm milk

100 ml lukewarm water

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons neutral oil (e.g., sunflower oil)

Frying oil

Optional for the topping:

Garlic oil (crushed garlic + oil + salt)

Sour cream

Grated cheese (e.g., Emmental or Gouda)

Herbs, ham, ajvar, or whatever you like
