For the Filling:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar (packed)

2½ tbsp ground cinnamon

For the Golden Glaze (Optional for color):

1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (egg wash for a golden crust)

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 oz (½ cup) cream cheese, softened

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

1–1½ cups powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1–2 tbsp milk (for thinning, if needed)
