Today, I'm going to show you one of the simplest and quickest fruit marmalade recipes using agar-agar. The recipe only requires 3 ingredients.

🔹Ingredients 🔹
First option:

✔Juice (I have pomegranate) – 250 ml.

✔Sugar – 40 g or to taste.

✔Agar-agar (900) – 7 g.

Second option:

✔Orange juice – 250 ml.

✔Sugar – 40 g or to taste.

✔Agar-agar (900) – 7 g.

✔More love and good humor (required).

👉For a regular square shape, I used the same amount of ingredients. Mold size: 15x15 cm.

I'll say right away that you can pour the marmalade into either special silicone molds or a regular mold. In the latter case, simply cut the marmalade into squares. I've shown both options.

Preparation

✅We prepare thick-bottomed dishes; I have a convenient ladle with a handle. Pour the fruit juice into a container. Add the sugar and agar-agar.

✅Place the container on a slightly lower heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.

✅ Boil the liquid for 2-3 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat and pour it into molds as soon as it's hot. I don't oil the silicone molds; this marmalade doesn't stick to them and comes out easily and quickly. I lightly grease the glass mold with vegetable oil.

✅Let the mixture cool. The agar begins to harden very quickly. At a temperature of 40 degrees, it not only freezes, but also begins to stabilize. Therefore, after just 15 to 20 minutes, you'll see that the mass has already become dense. As soon as the marmalade has cooled, refrigerate it for another hour until it has completely stabilized.

✅After this time, the marmalade can be removed from the mold and enjoyed.
