Condensed Milk Cream with Cookies

Place the milk, condensed milk and vanilla essence in a saucepan, stir well and heat over high heat.

Meanwhile, separate the yolks from the whites. Add the cornstarch to the egg yolks and mix well so there are no lumps.

Add a little hot milk to the egg yolk mixture and stir. Then add everything to the hot milk in the pan and heat again, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes.

While the mixture is cooling, beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt.

Add the cream to the beaten egg whites and gently mix with a whisk until everything is combined.

In a bowl, make alternating layers of cream and Maria biscuits. The last layer should be cream.

Decorate with grated Maria biscuits or cut into small pieces and place in the refrigerator for a few hours until the cream “sets”.
