Bacon Cheddar Onion Bombs💜😋🥓💛

1. Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.

2. Prepare the Onions:
Peel onions and cut them in half. Separate the outer 2-3 layers to form “shells.” Save the rest for another use.

3. Make the Filling:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar, bread crumbs, egg, milk, and seasonings. Mix until well blended.

4. Assemble the Bombs:
Fill one onion half with the meat mixture, then place another half on top to enclose it like a ball. Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each onion bomb, securing with toothpicks if needed.

5. Bake:
Place the bombs on the prepared tray and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

6. Optional Glaze:
In the last 5 minutes, brush BBQ sauce over each bomb and return to the oven.
