🌭 Chili Cheese Dogs Recipe

In a pan over medium heat, sauté the onion in olive oil until soft (about 4 minutes).

Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add diced tomatoes, broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Simmer for 20–25 minutes, until thickened.

Prepare Hot Dogs:

While the chili simmers, grill, pan-fry, or boil the hot dogs until cooked through.

Warm or toast buns, if desired.

Assemble:

Place hot dogs in buns.

Spoon generous chili on top.

Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese (it will melt slightly from the heat).

Add diced onions or other toppings of choice.
