🔥 Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
Grease a medium baking dish with the melted butter.
Spread ¼ of the potato slices evenly on the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle with ⅛ tsp salt, 1 garlic clove, ¼ of the Parmesan, and ¼ of the thyme.
Then pour 1/4 of the cream evenly over the top.
Repeat this process three more times, creating a total of four layers.
Use a little more Parmesan cheese (approx. 50 g) for the top layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, until the potatoes are tender and the surface is golden brown.
Tip: Let cool briefly before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly. Serve with a fresh green salad or roasted meat. Enjoy!
