Mix the dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add the liquids:
Add warm water and oil. Mix with a spoon or by hand until a smooth dough forms.
Quick Knead:
Knead for 5 minutes until the dough is soft but not sticky.
(Add a little flour if the dough is too sticky, or a little water if it's too dry.)
Express Rest:
Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest in a warm place for 15 to 20 minutes.
→ The dough should rise slightly.
Shape:
Divide the dough into 4 to 6 balls. Roll each ball out into a flatbread about 0.5 to 1 cm thick.
Pan Fry:
Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
Fry each patty for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Cover the pan with a lid during baking to soften the crumb.
