Marinated Cheese Plate
Ingredients:
For the marinated cheese:
8 oz block of feta cheese (or goat cheese, mozzarella, or your preferred cheese)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or basil), a few sprigs
For the cheese plate:
2-3 additional cheese varieties (e.g., cheddar, brie, blue cheese, gouda, or any favorites)
Fresh fruits (grapes, berries, apple slices, or pears)
Nuts (almonds, walnuts, or cashews)
Crackers, bread, or crostini
Honey or jam (for drizzling or dipping)
