We mix all the ingredients well until we get a soft dough. Then we wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
After this time we stretch it on a smooth, lightly floured surface with the help of a rolling pin, until it has a rectangular shape.
We put the flour and butter mixture that we have reserved in the centre of the dough, we wrap it with the dough and stretch it with the help of the rolling pin.
We fold the dough in two and stretch it two more times. Then, we cut the dough into triangles and fold them from the base to the tip, so that it takes the shape of a crescent moon.
We place the crescents on a baking tray lined with baking paper, slightly separated from each other. Then, we let them rest until they double in size.
Then we paint them with beaten egg with the help of a kitchen brush, and sprinkle a little sugar on top. Then we put them in the oven, previously preheated to 180º C. We cook them for 15 minutes or until we see that they are golden.
When they are done, we put them to cool on a rack and when they are cold you can take them to the table. Delicious!
