First, peel the potatoes, cut them into smaller pieces, and cook them in a pot of salted water for about 20 minutes.

Next, drain well, mash the hot potatoes, and mix them with the egg, a pinch of salt, and the melted butter.

Then, sift the flour and add it to the mixture. Stir until a smooth dough forms. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape them into small balls.

Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a rectangle about 0.16 inches (0.4 cm) thick.

After that, sprinkle ¼ of the grated cheese over each rectangle and fold the dough to form a stuffed, rectangular bread.

Now, heat oil in a skillet and fry each bread for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Finally, keep in mind: frying time may vary depending on your stove’s heat. Fry the first one as a test to find the ideal time.
