Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

Instructions

Place the beef, peppers, and onions in an electric pressure cooker.

Add garlic powder, ground ginger, black pepper, brown sugar, and soy sauce.

Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.

Seal the lid securely. Set the pressure cooker to high pressure for 15 minutes.

Once cooking is complete, perform a quick release. For more tender meat, use natural release.

Remove the lid and press the Cancel button. Then switch to Sauté (Blown) mode.

In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water until smooth.

Stir this slurry into the pepper steak mixture.

Bring to a boil and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
