Banana Bread Cookies

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, granulated sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
Make sure there are no large banana lumps.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Avoid overmixing to keep the cookies soft.

Step 4: Shape the Cookies
Use a tablespoon or small cookie scoop to portion the dough.
Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Gently flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon.

Step 5: Bake Until Golden
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.
Do not overbake—cookies continue to firm up as they cool.

Step 6: Cool and Enjoy!
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
