Preparation:
Wash the cauliflower, divide it into small florets, and cook in salted water until al dente.
Roughly chop it with a hand blender or a fork (not too finely).
Mix in a bowl with the egg, grated cheese, spices, and breadcrumbs. Let rest a little.
Shape the mixture into meatballs and fry in olive oil until golden brown on both sides. If desired, you can fry a finely chopped onion with the meatballs.
Serve with sour cream or remoulade sauce. A fresh green salad goes well with it.
Tip: These meatballs also taste great cold as a snack or in a bun!
