Juice the lemon (or slice it thin if you prefer to go all-natural and leave out the juice press).
Add the lemon juice or slices directly into the drum of your washing machine.
Optional: Sprinkle baking soda into the drum.
Pour white vinegar into the detergent tray (if using).
Add your laundry (whites work best).
Run on a hot water cycle (or the hottest safe setting for your fabrics).
⚠️ Notes:
Don’t use lemon with delicate colors — it has natural bleaching properties and is best for white or light-colored fabrics.
Always check your machine’s manual before adding anything unconventional.
