🌿 Spinach & Feta Wreath with Toasted Pistachio Crunch 🥜

As the wreath bakes, the buttery pastry turns golden and crisp, the creamy filling bubbles gently, and pistachios toast to aromatic perfection.
🌿 Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine thawed spinach, feta, cream cheese, garlic, egg, pepper, nutmeg, and chopped pistachios. Mix until evenly blended and creamy.
🌀 Shape the Wreath: On parchment, lay out the puff pastry. If rectangular, cut two long strips and overlap to form a circle. Spoon the filling along the center in a ring shape, leaving space on both sides.
🔄 Fold & Seal: Gently fold the outer and inner edges of the pastry over the filling to enclose, pinching to seal. Use kitchen scissors or a knife to make decorative cuts around the ring.
🥚 Egg Wash & Garnish: Beat the egg with 1 tbsp milk. Brush the entire wreath, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and extra chopped pistachios.
🔥 Bake: Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Bake the wreath for 25–30 minutes, or until puffed and deep golden brown.
🌿 Cool Slightly & Serve: Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Best served warm with a side of herbed yogurt or tzatziki.
