We eat it three times a week: baked party schnitzels.

Prepare the schnitzels: First, season the pork schnitzels with salt and pepper. Then, heat some oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels on both sides until golden brown. If you prefer a crispier texture, you can also bread the schnitzels before pan-frying them. After frying, remove the schnitzels from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the sauce: In the same pan, fry the chopped onions and garlic until translucent. Then add the cream and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer over medium heat until the sauce has thickened slightly. Now cut the ham into small pieces and add it to the pan. Stir well.
Prepare the schnitzels: Place the pre-fried schnitzels in a baking dish. Pour the freshly prepared cream sauce evenly over them and sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven at 180°C and bake for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Serving: After baking, let the party schnitzels cool briefly, then arrange them on plates. Serve with a fresh salad or crusty baguette.
