Ingredients:
130g cooked ham
8 slices of frozen puff pastry, 2 slices per serving
100g salami
A little tomato paste
Salt and pepper
A few tomatoes
Garlic
1 bell pepper
150g cheese, grated
Oregano
2 egg yolks
Preparation:
1. First, thaw the puff pastry, then pierce it with a fork and let it rest for a while.
2. Then place the puff pastry on a cold, rinsed baking sheet or parchment paper.
3. In the meantime, dice the peppers, tomatoes, ham, and salami, mix these ingredients together, and season with the spices.
4. Now grate the cheese and set aside.
5. Spread the tomato paste over the puff pastry, leaving a 1cm border free.
6. Spread the mixture of peppers, tomatoes, ham, 2 egg yolks, and salami over the dough. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
7. Now moisten the edge of the puff pastry and place the second piece of dough on top, press down firmly, and brush with the beaten egg yolk.
8. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
