Fried asparagus and mushrooms

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash asparagus thoroughly, trim off woody ends, and cut into 2-inch pieces.

Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice evenly.

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Cook the Dish

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until aromatic.

Increase heat to medium-high, add sliced mushrooms, and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned and their moisture is released.

Add asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until asparagus is tender but still slightly crisp, about 4–5 minutes.

Add Optional Zest and Serve

Stir in balsamic vinegar or lemon juice just before serving for a fresh, zesty finish (optional).

Serve immediately while hot to enjoy the full flavors.
