Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and French Onion dip mix. Mix until well blended.
Place the pork chops in a casserole dish side by side. (Optionally, spread a bit of the sour cream mixture on the bottom of the dish so both sides of the pork are coated.)
Spread the sour cream and dip mixture evenly over the pork chops. Use dollops on each chop to ensure even coating.
Sprinkle the fried onions generously on top to cover the pork chops.
Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–30 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked and the onions are golden brown and crispy.
