👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Boil the potatoes:
Peel the potatoes (or leave the skin on for more flavor) and cut them into equal-sized pieces.

Boil the potatoes in salted water for 10–12 minutes, until tender but not too soft. Drain and set aside.

2. Prepare the creamy cheese filling:
Heat the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and add the milk. Stir well until the butter is melted.

Add the sour cream (or crème fraîche) and half of the grated cheese. Continue stirring until well blended and melted. Season with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder for added flavor.

3. Mix the potatoes:
In a large bowl, gently toss the cooked potatoes with the creamy cheese sauce. Make sure the potatoes are well coated with the cheese sauce.

Add some finely chopped chives for added color and flavor, if desired.

4. Bake:
Grease a baking dish and add the potatoes and sauce.

For added color and flavor, sprinkle the top with the remaining grated cheese and a little paprika.

Place the dish in the oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
