Cauliflower bomb with minced meat

1. Pre-cook the Cauliflower:
Trim leaves and stem so cauliflower sits flat.

Boil or steam whole cauliflower for 6–8 minutes until slightly tender but still firm. Drain and let cool.

2. Prepare the Meat Mixture:
In a bowl, combine minced meat, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, spices, and herbs. Mix well.

Optional: Mix in grated cheese for added richness.

3. Assemble the Bomb:
Place cauliflower upside-down (stem side up).

Press meat mixture firmly into and around the cauliflower, forming a dome so it’s fully covered.

Flip it over onto a greased baking tray (so the meat side is now on top).

Brush with olive oil or melted butter.

4. Bake:
Bake at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 45–60 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked and browned.

Optionally, top with a layer of cheese in the last 10 minutes for a melted crust.

5. Serve:
Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with herbs and serve with yogurt sauce, tzatziki, or a fresh salad.
