How to use bottles as real reservoirs
With this technique, you no longer have to manually water potted plants and buried plants, including the vegetable garden, for days. You can go on vacation or away for a weekend without having to ask friends and neighbors for water.
Get two different sized plastic bottles – half-liter bottles and 1.5-liter bottles, or 1.5-liter bottles and 3-liter canisters, etc. – the larger they are, the longer the water will last. You'll receive your watering system free of charge and without any impact.
See next page. Take the smallest plastic container and cut it more or less in half, as shown in the photo. Dig a hole to bury it and fill it with water. Now take the largest plastic container and cut it in half as well.
Place it upside down on top of the smaller one, forming a large lid (see photo).
