🦀🐟 Savory Seafood Rolls
(Crab, Smoked Salmon, & Shrimp stuffed soft rolls)
Ingredients:
For the dough (soft & slightly rich):
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
¾ cup warm milk
2 tbsp sugar
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1 egg
3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
For the seafood filling:
½ cup cooked crab meat (real or good-quality imitation)
½ cup small cooked shrimp, chopped
½ cup smoked salmon, chopped
¼ cup cream cheese or ricotta
2 tbsp mayo or sour cream (optional for extra richness)
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp fresh dill or chives, finely chopped
Zest of ½ lemon + a squeeze of juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: a pinch of chili flakes or paprika
Topping:
1 egg (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything bagel seasoning
Optional: more herbs or grated parmesan for the top
