Cook the pasta al dente in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions.
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the wild garlic pesto.
Prepare the wild garlic pesto:
Wash the wild garlic thoroughly and chop coarsely.
Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves.
In a blender or with an immersion blender, puree the wild garlic, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
If desired, season with a squeeze of lemon juice to freshen the pesto even more.
Toss the pasta and pesto:
Drain the cooked pasta, reserving some of the cooking water.
Return the pasta to the pan and stir in the pesto. If the pesto is too thick, add a little of the reserved cooking water to thin it and make the pasta nice and creamy.
To serve:
Divide the wild garlic pesto pasta among plates and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Tip: You can also garnish the pasta with toasted pine nuts or walnuts for extra crunch and flavor! 😋
