🍓 Jam-Stuffed Buns
Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
¾ cup warm milk (not hot!)
2 tbsp sugar
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
1 egg
3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
For the filling:
About ½ cup of your favorite jam (strawberry, raspberry, apricot — go wild!)
Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or lemon zest mixed into the jam
For the top:
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
