🧄 Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites
Ingredients:
Mushrooms – 500g (white button or cremini), cleaned and trimmed
Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup (panko for extra crisp)
Parmesan cheese – ¼ cup, finely grated (optional but tasty!)
Eggs – 2, beaten
Flour – ½ cup (for dredging)
Salt & pepper – to taste
Dried herbs – 1 tsp (thyme, oregano, or Italian seasoning)
Olive oil or neutral oil – for frying or baking spray
Instructions:
Prep mushrooms: If mushrooms are large, halve or quarter them for bite-sized pieces. Pat dry with a paper towel — moisture is the enemy of crisp.
Make the coating station:
Bowl 1: flour seasoned with salt & pepper
Bowl 2: beaten eggs
Bowl 3: breadcrumbs mixed with garlic, herbs, and Parmesan
Coat mushrooms:
