Step 1: Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until softened and translucent. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute, until aromatic.
Step 2: Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir well. Add the thyme, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Sauté the mushrooms for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and softened. Stir occasionally.
Step 3: Remove the mushroom pan from the heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
