Sweeten and add lime (optional): Once the cantaloupe is blended, taste your agua fresca. For an extra touch of sweetness, add sugar and blend again. You can also add lime juice for a refreshing citrus touch.
Strain (optional): For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. This step is optional and depends on the desired consistency.
Serve: Pour the agua fresca into a glass over ice, if desired. Stir well before serving.
