Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 475°F. Grease an 18”x13”x3/4″ baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough:
Microwave the water for 30-60 seconds until just warm (not hot).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, dry milk powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add the vegetable oil to the warm water and stir. Then, add the water-oil mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until a dough forms.
Shape the Crust:
Pour the dough onto the prepared baking pan and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Spread the dough to the edges of the pan, ensuring even thickness throughout and covering all corners.
Bake the crust for 6-8 minutes.
Cook the Meat:
While the crust is baking, brown the Italian sausage and ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
Break up the meat into small pieces using a spatula or spoon.
Assemble the Pizza:
Remove the partially baked crust from the oven.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and pepper over the sauce.
Add the cooked meat in an even layer over the sauce.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat.
Bake the Pizza:
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and beginning to brown.
Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Slice the pizza into approximately 5”x6” rectangles.
Serve immediately.
