Cover the puff pastry triangles with cheese and ham. Roll the dough into croissants.
Brush the savory croissants with egg and bake them in the oven for 18 minutes.
The ham and cheese croissants taste good both warm and cold. They are also really great as mini croissants in small finger food form. I like to serve them like this for children's birthdays or pack them in the lunch box every now and then.

Ingredients for 6 pieces

1 roll of puff pastry

60 cheese (3 slices)

200 g cooked ham

1 egg

1 tbsp sesame
This is how you make the savory croissants yourself:

Preheat the oven to 220°C top/bottom heat.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 6 triangles.

Cut the cheese into 6 triangles too.

Place a slice of cheese on the wide side of the puff pastry triangle and a slice of ham on top.

Now roll up the puff pastry from the wide side to the tip. This creates a croissant.

Line a tray with baking paper and place the cheese and ham croissants on it.

Whisk the egg and brush the croissants with it. Then sprinkle the ham croissants with sesame seeds and bake them in the oven on the middle rack for 18 minutes until golden brown.
