1. In a bowl, mix the garlic, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
2. Coat the ribs with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
3. Place the ribs in the crockpot, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
4. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
