Cream Cheese Brownies

Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
Make the Brownie Layer: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
Make the Cream Cheese Swirl: In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Assemble: Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the two together gently.
Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool & Serve: Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
