For the bread

(or other bread, also ciabatta)

1 clove of garlic

2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)

For the topping

400 g tomatoes

Basil (10 leaves)

1 clove of garlic

Salt

Pepper
Make your own bruschetta with tomatoes:
Cut the tomatoes into very small cubes and put them in a bowl.
Peel the garlic and press a clove into the tomato mixture.
Chop the basil and mix it in. Season the tomato salad with salt and pepper or a suitable spice mixture. Now let the mixture steep.
Press the other clove of garlic into a small bowl and mix it with olive oil.
Cut the bread into slices and brush it with the garlic oil. Toast the bread slices in a preheated oven at 200°C top and bottom heat. Alternatively, you can also toast it in a pan or grill it.
Pour the tomato salad through a sieve so that it doesn't contain too much liquid and make the bread soggy.
Now spread the tomato mixture on the toasted bread slices.
Depending on your mood, you can add small halved mozzarella balls or even bake them again briefly in the oven.
