1. Activate the Yeast: In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes bubbly.
2. Mix the Dough: Stir in the warm milk, yogurt, 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, and minced garlic. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
3. Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Let Dough Rise: Lightly oil a clean bowl, place the dough inside, cover it, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

5. Shape and Cook Naan: Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces and roll each piece into an oval shape. Heat a greased skillet over medium-high heat. Place a naan in the skillet, cook until bubbly, then flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
6. Garlic Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped herbs. Brush this mixture over the warm naan before serving.
