Ingredients
3 1/2 cups of carrots (400 g)
5 tablespoons of organic honey (125 g)
Preparation
Wash the carrots thoroughly, grate them, and put them in a pot with water.
Let them boil until they soften.
Remove the carrots from the heat and mash them with a fork or spoon.
Put the puree in a glass bottle and mix it with five tablespoons of honey.
Finally, cover the container and let the product rest for at least a day before consuming it.
Usage
Take 4 or 5 tablespoons of syrup per day to reduce phlegm production. As a preventive treatment, you can take one tablespoon per day, preferably outside meals.
If you find it too sweet, you can mix the syrup with half a cup of warm water.
This natural remedy that eliminates phlegm is not recommended for people with high blood sugar levels. Honey tends to aggravate the situation.
